Hi, I’m Matt PEarse.

I’m the curious person that I hope will be able to assist you getting from where you are to where you want to be. Oh, and my pronouns are he/him.

I bring into the space a compassionate and curious stance along with a bit of laughter. My training in social science and social work along with my experience working in homelessness and mental health inform my practice.

I identity as an anglo/scot Australian, endosex, cisgender, gay man. I have a passion to work with queer identifying people in dismantling unhelpful internalised homophobia / transphobia and heterosexual relational norms.

My Approach

Sitting in a space with me will be gentle and quiet. I take a socratic approach by sitting in the questions more than telling you the answers. Depending on the situation I borrow frameworks from thinkers such as:

Brené Brown

Irvin Yalom

Judith Butler

Richard C. Schwartz

Simone de Buviour
